SUNJUNJIE (born in 1988 in Shanghai, based in Tokyo) is an artist specializing in high-end 3D visuals and video expression. He graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo in 2011. His work integrates photorealistic and tactile design with dynamic motion planning.

His work explores perception shaped by tactile and sensorial experiences—such as texture and liquidity—using them as motifs to reinterpret and reframe various “worlds” as manipulable relationships. Through methods of simulation and metaphor, he edits the contrasts in materiality to evoke perceptual ambiguity, offering viewers an experience of “seeing” itself.

SUNJUNJIE（1988年上海生まれ、東京都在住）は、ハイエンドな3Dビジュアルと映像表現を専門とするアーティスト。2011年に東京大学工学部建築学科を卒業後、noiz architectsを経て、フォトリアルかつ触覚的なデザインとモーション設計を駆使する。手触りや水々しさといった経験によって規定される認識とあらゆる「世界」をモチーフとし、それらを操作可能な関係性として捉えることを試みる。再現や見立ての手法によって質感の差異を編集し、知覚の揺らぎを引き起こすことで、観ることそのものを体験させる。
